Unlike metal braces that must be worn for up to 2 years, most patients who use Invisalign will be through the process in less than a year.

Getting started with Invisalign braces is easy. On your first visit, Dr. Gurley will take bite impressions of your teeth. These are sent to Invisalign for their specialized 3-D processing and your custom-designed invisible aligners are sent back to Dr. Gurley's cosmetic and family dentistry office in approximately 3 weeks.

Family Dentistry with Invisalign

On your next visit, you will be given your first set of aligners, as well as the next several sets to use before your next office visit. You will move to your next set of invisible aligners approximately every 2 weeks as your teeth are gently moved to their new position. Dr. Gurley will determine the number of interim office visits you'll need at the beginning of the process. Invisalign aligners are easy to remove so you can eat, drink, brush and floss with ease.

Some family dentistry patients have told Doctor Gurley that Invisalign is so comfortable, they forget they are wearing invisible braces. It doesn't get much better than that when it comes to braces.
