The dental veneer procedure
The dental veneer process includes preparing the teeth, taking impressions, creating the veneers, and placing the veneers. The teeth that require dental veneers will need to be filed down slightly to make room for the veneers. This will promote a natural look when the veneers are placed.
Next, Dr. Gurley will take impressions of your teeth so that he can deliver veneers that are perfect for your smile. Your custom veneers must be formed, and then they can be placed on your teeth. Dr. Gurley will bond the veneers to your teeth with a special cement and curing light.

There are several steps in the dental veneers process, but we want to give you your ideal smile quickly and comfortably. Dr. Gurley utilizes state-of-the-art dental technology so that it is possible to install your veneers in just a couple visits.
During your pre-visit, we will talk you through what to expect, “wax up” your teeth, and make sure you’re prepped and ready to go for your veneer fitting appointment. Using photos and impressions of your teeth, our lab will wax up a model of what your teeth will look like when completed. The temporaries you wear home that day will give you a good idea of what to expect, so if you have any concerns or want to change something, we can make adjustments before your final porcelain veneers are fabricated.
